Gerardo and Carolina González opened their doors with a singular goal: fund their daughter Sarita's college education. Starting with just three dishes and a lot of heart, they turned a humble taqueria into Houston's most beloved Mexican breakfast spot.

Recipes passed down from Puebla and San Luis Potosí. Tortillas handmade daily. Food cooked fresh. Every guest treated equally.

Born out of necessity, our most famous dish was crafted from leftover pork skins when business was slow. Customers loved it so much they came back 3 to 4 times a day.
